Choice of STI2D BAC

Specialty
ITEC
Fascinated by new technologies and not really knowing what I wanted to do after my first year of high school, I discovered the BAC STI2D. After finding out about the training, I realized that it suited me, because I really liked new technologies and that it would allow me to develop my knowledge both theoretically and practically.
There is also the fact of deepening my knowledge of innovation and the study of the environmental impact of products throughout their life cycle.
I had to change schools because my old school did not offer this training. I joined the François Mansart high school where I passed my BAC STI2D. I have good memories of it, despite the fact that we skipped a few parts of the program due to COVID.
In terminal, I decided to choose the ITEC option (Technological Innovation and Eco-Design) to focus my learning on new technologies and sustainable development.

The benefit of this training

This training allowed me to improve my knowledge in scientific fields such as mathematics and physics-chemistry in order to use them in practical subjects such as ITEC and I2D (Engineering and sustainable development).
The discovery of the practice was a big upheaval for me during this first year, because I could finally create and learn concrete things. I didn't miss the superabundant theory of the second general.
I discovered SolidWorks, one of my favorite software today, because it allows me to express my creativity to the fullest.
Thanks to her, I was also able to find my way by understanding that I was passionate about innovation in the mechanical field.
